What is the cost for a class?
*2 hour paint class = $35
*3 hour paint class = $45
*kids 1.5 hour class = $25
*Wine Glass Painting = $35
*Paint Your Pet Portrait classes = $50
*Paint on a Michigan Shaped Cutting Board = $45
*Small 2 hour Private paint parties booked M-F that start between 10:am and 3:30pm are $45 for 5-9 people – once registration hits 10, each member will receive a $10 off coupon for their next visit.
*Custom created painting = $40 design fee
*Extend your party 1 hour = $100
Pallet Sign Fees:
*Pallet Wood Sign Classes = $65
*Self-Directed Open Studio (Use Picasso’s supplies) = $20
*Self-Directed Open Studio (Bring your own supplies) = $10
*Custom created pallet sign = $20 design fee
Cornhole / Beanbag Toss Games:
*Gameboard class = $150 (Includes 2 boards-regulation size)
*Bean Bags (set of 8) = $25
*Assembly fee = $20 (if ordering a board for us to complete without attending a class)
*Travel bag for game = $30
*Custom created game board = $20 design fee
*Fundraising Paint classes = $30. The party host can choose to charge any amount of $40 or more, with the proceeds above $40 going towards your organization.
*Fundraising Pallet Wood Sign classes = $50. You charge $65 to the attendees – with $15 going to your cause.
Can I rent space at Picasso’s for group meetings?
*$50 per hour
*Fairy Garden Doors = $15 ea/2 for $25
*Garden Stakes = $25 for 6
*Wine Caddy = $35
When do I need to choose the painting or Pallet Sign?
*Pallet Sign Class – when you register
*Painting Class – as long as we get your selection a week prior to the event, we should be good!
Can we stay longer than the 2 hour class time to socialize with friends?
Having a great time and want to stay longer? For an additional $100 we can extend your fun for an additional hour. This is a great option for birthday parties and showers to have time for gift opening! Let the good times continue! (The extended time does need to be arranged in advance.) Otherwise – we ask that you are courteous towards the party members that have scheduled a party right after yours:)
What is the class size minimum?
Private paint parties = 10 person min.
Private paint party (M-F before 4:pm) = 5 person min
Private Pallet Wood Sign Class (Fri & Sat) = 10 person min.
Private Pallet Wood Sign Class (Sun – Thurs) = 5 person min.
Fund Raisers = 15 person min.
Mobile Party = 20 person min
Open Paint sessions = 4 person min to hold a class
What should I wear?
Attire is up to you – just be aware that we are using acrylic paint. We provide aprons – but they don’t cover everything. If you should drop some paint on your attire – cold water quickly applied is the best method – but we offer no guarantees nor take responsibility for damaged personal belongings.
What time should we arrive?
Allow an extra 15-20 minutes for a Friday & Saturday evening class to coordinate parking. It’s a hoppin little town on the weekends! Painting will begin no later than 10 minutes after the start.
What do we bring?
Just a little something to drink if you like.
We provide all the necessary tools for your painting or Pallet Wood Sign Class. For painting, we supply…canvas, brushes, palettes, paint, aprons and step-by-step instructions from a local artist. For sign classes we supply wood, drills, stain, paint, stencils, sand paper, and anything else you will need to complete your board. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage and light snack. We have cups, ice, bottle openers, and wine bottle openers.
Can we bring wine and beer?
Yes, bring your favorite wine or beer. Cork screws, ice and cups are provided. It is the law that you must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages. You may be required to show ID. Regular classes are for ages 16 and up. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. No hard liquor is permitted.
What if my paint isn’t dry.
We do provide the use of blow dryers to speed up the drying process so you can be sure to share your creation with your friends and family members that day.
Can I come alone?
Of course come on your own and have fun. You may meet new friends and find a fun new hobby.
Can I sit with my friends?
Yes, just let us know when you register and we will arrange your seating in a group.
How do I register?
Go on the calendar and click on the date/painting/sign you wish to choose and follow the easy instructions. You must have a credit card to register online. Or call to register over the phone.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes, credit cards, cash or checks. You will need to use a credit card to register online.
Can I walk in without registering for the Pallet Wood Sign class?
No … We do need time to prepare for this type of class and registration will need to be completed by 24 hours prior to the event.
Can I walk in without registering for the paint class?
Yes for paint classes … if its the last minute, but call for class availability. (We do prefer that you register before you come to insure there is space.)
Can I come with friends and just watch?
Absolutely! We also have an art gallery where we feature the work of local artists that are for sale. Picasso’s Grapevine is committed to promoting the arts within our community.
What if I need to cancel?
You must cancel 48 hours in advance in order to reschedule. No refunds, however we will honor a store credit that does not expire.
Does the classes ever get cancelled?
On occasion, we may need to cancel a class. If we do not get at least 4 registered painters or pallet sign creators, we reserve the right to cancel an open session. In the event we have to cancel a class for minimal registration, your registration fee will be refunded. Weather and other extraordinary conditions may require us to cancel a class as well. In the event we have to cancel a class for weather, we will retain your credit with the store that will never expire.
Is the facility ADA compliant?
We are an ADA compliant business and want to insure that our services are available to everyone. Please let us know if you require any special assistance by calling us at 248-297-5982.
What if I didn’t finish?
Not a problem! We offer monthly S.O.S. sessions on the 15th which are free of charge and open to anyone that needs some extra time and help to finish their incomplete painting. Although – we rarely have people who do not finish in time.
Where should I park?
There is a municipal lot on the corner of Main Street and Washington, also another lot on Depot Street near Depot Park, and another small parking lot behind Picasso’s Grapevine. Do give yourself some extra time for parking – it’s a hoppin little town on Friday and Saturday nights:)
